Perfect Continuous :- ……समय से.

1. Present Perfect Continuous :- रहा है, रही है + समय से. (है)
I/ You / Plural -> have been & Singular -> has been.
2. Past Perfect Continuous. :- रहा था, रही थी + समय से. (था)
सब में had been लगेगा.
3. Future Perfect Continuous :- रहा होगा, रही होगी + समय से. (गा)
I / We -> Shall have been & शेष के साथ -> Will have been.
समय से :> यहाँ since और for का प्रयोग होता है.
Since :> point of time.
1. दो बजे से, सुबह से, सोमवार से, बुधवार से, जनवरी से, १९७८ से.
2. कोई अवसर :> दीपावली, ईद, होली, बचपन, शादी आदि.
3. Yesterday, last week, month, next day, tomorrow etc.
Note:> यदि last के बाद कोई संख्या आ जाये तब वह Period of time हो जाता है फिर वहां पर for प्रयोग होगा.

Eg. Since last week, यहाँ पर अगर ४ सप्ताह हो जाये तब :> for last four week.

For :> Period of time (समय की मात्र के साथ किसी संख्या का भी होना)
Eg. १० मिनट से, दो घंटे से, ३ दिन से, ४ सप्ताह से, ६ महीने से, ७ साल से,.

Examples :>
1. बच्चे एक महीने से फुटबाल कहाँ खेल रहे हैं. :> Where have children been playing football for one month.
2. क्या रवि सुबह से हाकी नहीं खेल रहा था. :> Had Ravi not been playing hockey since morning.
3. वह बच्चा ३ घंटे से शोर क्यों नहीं मचा रहा होगा. – Why will that child not have been making a noise for three hours.
4. क्या आप मुझे ३ घंटे से पढ़ा रहे होंगे. :> Will you have been teaching me for 3 hours.
5. सोहन सुबह से हिंदी क्यों बोल रहा था. :> Why had Sohan been speaking Hindi since morning.

ध्यान रहे की ता + रहना यानि की “keep on / go on” दूसरी चीज है .

वह पढता रहता है . – He keeps on reading.

वह पढता रहा – He kept on reading.
कभी कभी Perfect Continuous के sentence में “समय से” नहीं आता है फिर भी यह बोध होता है की काम लम्बे समय से जारी है.
Eg. ता + रहा है :> Present Perfect Continuous.
ता + रहा था :> Past Perfect Continuous
ता + हुआ रहेगा :> Future Perfect Continuous
वह पढता रहा है – He has been reading.
वह पढता रहा था – He had been reading.
वह पढता हुआ रहेगा – He will have been reading.
मैं अपनी युवावस्था से ही अध्यापक हूँ. – I have been a teacher since my young age.
गाँधी जी बचपन से सत्यवादी थे. – Gandhiji had been truthful since childhood.
वह कई वर्षों से बीमार है. – He has been ill for many years.
मैं यहाँ पिछले वर्षों से आता हूँ. – I have been coming here since last years.
Perfect tense में भी since/for का प्रयोग होता है.
Eg. मैंने सुबह से कुछ नहीं खाया है. – I have not taken any thing since morning.
वह तीन वर्षों से मुझसे नहीं मिला था. – He had not met me for 3 years.
लेकिन अगर कोई दूसरा tense आ जाए तब “from” प्रयोग होगा.
जैसे, मैं सुबह से पढता हूँ. – I read from morning.
